Welcome to the Bentex Cup webpage for the 2024 competition.
The Bentex Cup for 2024 will start on Saturday 6th April and will conclude on Saturday 26th October, which is 31 Saturdays. There will be a few less rounds than that to the Bentex Cup, as some Saturdays will be lost due to weather, Club Championships, Captains and Guest Days and other competitions.
This year the winner will record the highest points score from their best 13 scores from a maximum of 20 games, which must be played within the Saturday Swindle.
The winner must play 13 matches.
Each competitor will be allowed up to 3 ‘opt outs’, where the player may still be playing in the Saturday Swindle, but might choose that their score that week doesn’t count towards their Bentex Cup points total.
Once a player reaches 20 scores, their total points score from their best 13 games will be ‘locked in’, and that will be their final score in the competition, even if there are still Swindle match days available before 28th October.
If there is a tie on points, there will be a play off between the tied players.
