Welcome to the home of the Bentex Cup. The Bentex is a season long competition for the Saturday Swindle at Bentley Golf Club.
It mirrors the FedEx Cup on the PGA tour, with points scored each match day creating a league table, with the winner amassing the most points.
2020 Bentex Cup Rules
- Players must complete 14 qualifying matches to be included in the final rankings.
- Maximum of 20 matches, from which best 14 scores will be taken.
- Once 20 matches reached, best 14 scores will be ‘locked in’, with further matches not counting.
- Bentex Cup ran from Saturday 6th June to 10th April 2021, less any competitions.
- Saturday Swindle scores only to apply.
- £10 entry fee, paid in advance, in cash.
- 4 opt outs can be taken, so a player can play in the swindle, but choose not to have that score included in the Bentex Cup results.
- Opt outs must be posted on the Whats App or notified to Dave Fielder before the swindle starts.
- The Bentex Cup Chairman’s decision is final.
BENTEX Cup 2020 – Final Results
After the lack of game time due to Covid lockdown, the Saturday Swindle group finally concluded the BENTEX Cup 2020, with 29 players having played 14 or more matches, and GRAHAM CRABB was the winner on 487 points, from his best 14 scores, beating runner up Robin Mitchell in a play off match.
