Welcome to the Bentex Cup web page for 2021
The 2021 BENTEX CUP started on 17th April 2021, and concluded on October 30th 2021 which is 29 Saturdays.
This year, the winner will record the highest points score from their best 15 scores from a maximum of 21 matches.
The winner must play 15 matches minimum.
There will be 2 opt outs allowed, which must be advised to Dave Fielder before play starts on Saturday morning.
Once a player reaches 21 games, their best 15 scores will be ‘locked’ in, and that will be their final score in the competition.
If there is a tie on points, the winner will be decided in a play off match.

Alex Norman claimed the Bentex Cup Championship on the final day, eventually scoring 517 points from his best 15 games, from a total of 20 played during the season.
Chris Phillips and John Aldridge tied for 2nd place on 512 points.
Dan Griffiths earned 4th place on 507 points from his best 15 scores after 21 games.
The presentation and awards lunch was on Saturday, 30th October 2021
The BENTEX CUP purse is £300, individual winnings were:
- 1st place – Alex Norman £100
- Joint 2nd place – £60 + £40 – Chris Phillips and John Aldridge share
- 4th place – £30 – Dan Griffiths
- 5th place – £20 Robin Mitchell
- Joint 6th place – £10 each – Brian Mead & Dave Fielder
- Positions 8th – 10th – Also £10 each
